I am trying to enable DB2 Access for Domino using Beta 3 of the Domino Server and IBM DB2 Express C 9.1.2. Due to lack of funding I cannot do the same test using the enterprise edition of DB2 at this stage.

I am successful in enabling the server for DB2 access and to create DB2 enabled databases. However, I am failing to set-up DB2 Access for Domino to drive DB2 Access Views.

Following with the steps from the Domino 8 admin help I have

created a separate server ID for the DB2 Access Server
installed the db2 access server selecting the ID created in step1
enabled db2 access ending up with the following error message

Is there anything I missed or did I run into restrictions with the express edition of DB2?
Should this domino instance installed within the DB2 set-up path actively run?
